The dsLint plugin will help you ensure that your designs are ready for code generation and will highlight common issues that can be fixed.

The linter will surface warnings and errors that impact the generation quality of your designs. For example, in the below screenshot there are warnings for colors that aren’t attached to your design system. These often deviate from the expected colors in your brand identity and can generate with hard coded values.

So if things aren’t followed, it will surface errors or warnings. For example, in the following screenshot a subnode doesn’t have autolayout so it throws an error.
